About Thurston County Fairgrounds
This is the Thurston County Fairgrounds in Lacey, and it doubles as a spot for covered and indoor RV and boat storage when events aren't running. The grounds are mostly paved through the main area, with gravel and grass lots for parking. Reviewers call the buildings rustic but nice for a rainy day, and there's a covered stage. The place is best known as an event venue. People come for the county fair, bazaars, the gun show, and holiday events, and they write about the animal barns, crafts, and quilts. One reviewer has been going to the fair for close to 25 years. Parking gets mixed notes. A few reviewers said the setup felt awkward, describing a big field with rope cordons and a walk up a hill to the grounds. Others had no trouble and found the grounds easy to locate. The site is wheelchair accessible, including the entrance, parking lot, and restrooms.

“We went for the All's faire at the end of June. Parking was marginally awkward, just a huge field with rope cordons and then you have to walk up this huge hill to get to the grounds themselves. It's not a very big area either.” – jenna b., Edited 7 years ago, on Google
“Rustic and nice buildings for a rainy day. Covered stage. Paved mostly throughout the main area. Good parking, but gravel and grass. Outer buildings were more gravel and for animals. Easy to find.” – Coffee C., 7 months ago, on Google
“The family had an amazing time at the Fairgrounds this year. My kids loved the rides and the games were really fun. Interacting with the animals was great!” – Michael S., a year ago, on Google
