About Urbana Secure Self Storage
Urbana Secure Self Storage is an all-indoor facility on the self storage side, with covered and indoor units and climate control throughout. The place is lit, cameras are part of the setup, and there are dollies and moving carts on hand for the walk from your vehicle to the unit. Reviewers tend to bring up the staff first. Ten mentions of helpful staff show up in the reviews, and people describe them as kind and quick to respond. Others point to easy access and online rentals, including one person who had a unit within about 10 minutes of calling. It is not all smooth. Some renters mention insurance charges added despite sending proof of homeowners coverage, occasional trouble charging a card, and no prorating for a partial month. The facility also lists alarm monitoring, online payments, packing and moving supplies, and a moving supply store among its services. If you want a climate-controlled indoor unit in Urbana, it is worth a call or a look online.

“Quiet clean storage facility. Everything was generally good. My only complaints are that they keep adding on insurance charges even though I am covered under my homeowners insurance and repeatedly sent them that information and that there…” – Andrew O., a year ago, on Google
“This was the only place open on a Sunday early afternoon with a smaller unit available. The price is very reasonable and the owner is very friendly. They can store your credit card upon request, but there is a small convenience fee.” – Allison, 5 years ago, on Google
“Getting this storage facility was extremely easy! I went online called the number and had a storage with 10 mins. Everything was very easy to access and they have carts to help get things from the U-Haul to the storage.” – Christopher C., 2 years ago, on Google
