About Western Sands RV Park

Western Sands RV Park is a 55+ community in Yuma with an emphasis on activities and socializing. Recent guests mention a new pool and hot tub, wide sites, and a relaxed atmosphere. Many return for the winter and have made lasting friendships here. Reviews are mixed. Some praise the friendly staff and on-site manager who goes the extra mile. Others describe favoritism and poor communication from management, and one reviewer reported electrical problems with 50-amp hookups. The park is primarily a trailer park with a few RV sites, and some visitors felt unwelcome. It's close to restaurants, shopping, and banking, with easy access to San Diego. Dogs are allowed but must use the designated area. Wi-Fi is being upgraded to fiber. If you value a busy social calendar and amenities like shuffleboard and a hot tub, this could be your spot, but check recent reviews for balance.

“This is an RV park. No rooms or rentals are available unless it is from private owners.” – Jaime M., 3 years ago, on Google
“Nice hot pool with jets. The pool has an easy access ramp. Sites are wide. Dogs are allowed, but they don't want them to pee anywhere except the dog area and outside the park. Some noise from the road and the Interstate.” – Blair T., 4 years ago, on Google
