About Lucky's Boat Storage

Lucky's Boat Storage sits in Sarasota and stores boats, trailers and RVs. Reviewers describe a lot with a high fence and lighting, and several mention 24 hour access. The Google rating is 3.8 from 36 reviews, so the feedback runs both ways. Some customers have kept boats, jet skis and a 24 foot RV there for years. They call the owner, George, friendly and helpful, and the lot well maintained and secure. One boater said George couldn't take his boat but still gave advice and pointed him to people who could help. Other reviews tell a different story. Two people describe rude or hostile responses from the owner, one after a simple email about RV availability. Another says he was yelled at while backing a trailer into a tight spot and was asked to pay to have it parked.

“We've been storing our boats and jet skis with Lucky's for some time now, and every interaction with George has been nothing short of exceptional.” – Kata K., 2 years ago, on Google

“Businesses are only as good as the 'person behind the counter' and especially so when that guy is the owner/operator. George is that guy, and I feel "Lucky" to have encountered him! He was unable to store my boat, but was so helpful!” – SnowBird C., 7 years ago, on Google

“We’ve stored our 24’ RV at Lucky’s for several years now. Cannot say enough positive about the lot and of George, the owner. The lot has a really high fence; well lit, 24 hr access and we’ve had not one single problem over the years.” – James C., 3 years ago, on Google
