About Menards Self Storage Eau Claire East
This is a large self-storage property on the east side of Eau Claire with more than 500 units. Sizes go from 10 by 10 up to 25 by 48, so there is room for an RV or boat. You can pick from indoor climate-controlled units, warehouse units, or outdoor parking spots. Reviewers often call the place clean and neat. Some mention the outdoor spots have garage-style doors you lock with your own padlock. Online setup and payment get good marks, and staff have been described as understanding when a billing mistake came up. Others have complaints: one person said the website has no way to cancel and that a 28-day notice rule led to an extra month's charge. Another mentioned late fees after the 7th and a flooded indoor unit with no cleaning supplies offered. The lot is gated with a pin code, though a few reviewers said the doors sometimes fail. Snow plowing on the outdoor lot can run late. Hours are posted, but the place is not open around the clock.
