About MyPlace Self Storage
MyPlace Self Storage sits on Manchester Road in the New Franklin area of Akron. It's a self-storage facility that also handles outdoor parking for boats, RVs, and cars, plus drive-up units and a moving supply store. Access runs from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and the gate uses personal codes. Reviews are split. Many people mention the staff as helpful and cordial, and cleanliness comes up a lot. Recent feedback also points to billing and rate increases after a change in management, and some renters say the gate code has failed on them. If you're comparing spots for a rig, the outdoor parking and drive-up access are the draw. Ask about current rates and how billing is handled before you sign, since that's where the complaints cluster.
