About Pioneer Self Storage - Utah Storage Center
Pioneer Self Storage sits in North Salt Lake and takes self-storage, vehicle, boat, and RV parking. The lot is fenced and lit, with security cameras on site and electronic gate access every day of the week. A manager lives on site, and the office takes cards, cash, and checks, with email billing and autopay if you want them. Vehicle storage is allowed. Long-term renters tend to vouch for the security. One seven-year customer said they never had a problem with it, though the gate was broken for a while once, and called the place clean, accessible, and reasonable. Another mentioned being contacted right away when a payment check went missing. Not every review is kind. One renter reported mice getting into boxes, rugs, and furniture after a few months, and another complained about fees and being locked out early in the month. Worth reading the reviews yourself before you commit.

“I have had a storage unit for several years and have recommended and will continue to recommend others to this business. Although the company changed hands a while back, to me it was seamless.” – Incredible S., 10 years ago, on Google
“Great storage units, costumer service was amazing. I had rented a storage with (townestorage) day before moving day. The day of move they didn’t have their gate active when they say they run 7days a week. Completely ruined my move day.” – Christian H., a year ago, on Google
“I have rented a storage unit here for the past 7 years or so. Never had a problem with security.” – Steve B., 9 years ago, on Google
