About RecNation RV & Boat Storage
RecNation sits at 29 Scenic Loop Rd in Boerne, off the main road. You would not spot it driving past unless you knew it was back there. It stores motorhomes, campers, trailers and boats, with covered, enclosed and uncovered options and drive-up access so you can pull straight in. The place is gated and lit, with 24/7 surveillance. Reviewers mention the security a lot, and cleanliness comes up often too, with several calling the facility clean. Staff get credit for being responsive and friendly, and one reviewer said questions were handled quickly. One long-time customer moved from a covered spot for an Airstream to an enclosed unit for a 35 ft RV. It is not all praise. Some reviewers who were there before RecNation took over say it was better before, citing higher prices, a dirty bathroom and gate code changes. Others report thefts and say nobody is ever on site. Hours are posted, though it is not open around the clock, so check before you go. Month-to-month leases and online renting are offered.
