About RecNation RV & Boat Storage
RecNation sits on French Rd in Houston, storing RVs, campers, travel trailers and boats. The gate is controlled and cameras are on site, and renters get access around the clock. Indoor enclosed units come up in reviews, including one renter who looked at an 11'x27' room and called it well kept and secure. People also mention the lighting at night and say they feel safe leaving their property there. Staff get named in a few reviews, with Tom and Naidene both called out as helpful during a visit and a transaction. Not every review is a good one. A boat owner says his vessel was in a fire at the property and that getting the insurance payout through the third-party portal has been a fight since January. Another long-time boater says the gate was locked for over two weeks after a thunderstorm and calls to the district manager went unanswered. Worth reading the full reviews before you sign. Month-to-month leases are offered.
