About RecNation RV & Boat Storage
RecNation runs an RV and boat storage lot on W 43rd St in Shawnee. It is uncovered parking behind a gate, with 24/7 access and security cameras, and it sits close to KS-7, Shawnee Mission Parkway and K-10. Leases are month to month. Longtime renters who dealt with the previous owner remember it as a clean, safe lot with friendly staff and a repair person on site. Those reviews are older, from before October 2022. Reviews since then tell a different story. Several people describe steep rate increases, a gate half buried in weeds, standing water after rain and no one working onsite. Others say the phone goes unanswered. The staff who do get mentioned come off as friendly and willing to help. A 4.4 rating across 152 reviews covers both eras, so read the recent ones before you commit.
