About Self-Storage at U-Haul

This is the U-Haul spot in San Diego, near Point Loma and the Midway District. It handles RV and boat storage alongside regular self-storage, with both indoor and outdoor drive-up options. Access runs around the clock and the lot is lit. Reviewers tend to mention two things: the place is clean and the staff is helpful. One person kept a unit here for two years and was happy with it. Another praised the cleanliness and professionalism but said the cost felt high. A third had a rough time with a trailer rental and said they would not come back, so the counter experience can apparently swing either way. Security cameras are on site, and climate control is available for the indoor units. There is also a wash option if your rig needs it before it goes in. Month-to-month rentals and online payments are part of the setup, and you can find packing supplies and moving carts at the office.

“Great storage place! Well lit, climate controlled , clean and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Had a storage place for 2 years and was very happy with it ! Highly recommend.” – Corley K., a year ago, on Google
“Great, clean place and professional staff! But the cost is too high for my burned-out-pockets; but, I guess that's not their fault. I should've gotten better designer genes! 😭” – politico w., 4 months ago, on Google
