About Cove Ridge Marina & Resort
Cove Ridge sits on Watauga Lake outside Butler, and it works as a base for a lake trip rather than just a place to drop a rig. The resort lists seasonal and annual RV sites, plus cabins and glamping safari tents if you want family or friends nearby. Reviewers keep bringing up the staff. Guests say they were friendly and helpful before and after a pontoon rental, and one group mentioned getting a same day boat after leaving a message. The boats themselves get called clean and in good shape. Families also book the lake view house and come back for reunions and picnics. On site there is the Dock House Grill, a Ship Store, and live music at The Stage on Saturdays through summer. The office is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, so plan arrivals inside that window. Boat and kayak rentals run through the marina.
