About Devon Self Storage Newport News, Virginia
Devon Self Storage on the Virginia Peninsula handles more than boxes. The location lists covered, indoor and outdoor storage, and boat and RV parking comes up among the services. Drive-up units let you pull alongside and unload instead of hauling gear down a hallway. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. Shay shows up in a lot of them, described as helpful, informative and never rushed, with one person noting she let them walk several units on their own. Others mention a warm welcome and a smooth signup. The rating sits at 4.9 across almost 500 reviews, which is a lot of people taking the time to say something nice. Not every review is glowing. One customer had trouble reaching anyone by phone at checkout and found the office empty on a Monday afternoon. Another said a unit wasn't confirmed empty and the refund came up short. Worth knowing before you sign. The facility is veteran-owned and has wheelchair accessible entry, parking and restrooms.
