About Avid Storage - Westlake
Avid Storage on the Westlake side of Austin has been in the self-storage business for over 20 years, and the reviews point to one person again and again: Jo, the on-site manager. Renters describe her as thoughtful and dependable, the kind of manager who knows her clients and is around when a question comes up. People mention feeling safe opening their units at any hour because someone is on site watching who comes and goes. Several reviewers compared it to other facilities they had used, where security is handled off site and nobody is ever around. Maintenance issues get fixed quickly here, and the property stays clean. The facility handles self-storage along with car, boat, and RV parking. Hours are posted, so it is not a 24/7 operation. If you are weighing a move, the staff can help you sort out the right unit size, and reviewers say the pricing held up well against other spots in the area.
