About Copper Mountain RV Park
Copper Mountain sits just south of I-8 east of Yuma, next to federal land that opens onto the Barry Goldwater Range. Reviewers keep mentioning the paved roads and the size of the sites, and several say the photos match the place in person. The park runs activities November through March, with pickleball, horseshoes, shuffleboard and bingo, plus a rec hall with restrooms, laundry, a library and an exercise room. Pool and showers get called clean. There are two fenced dog areas. Sites run 45' by 50' with full hookups: water, sewer, 20-30-50 amp electric and cable. WiFi and R/O drinking water are free. People describe friendly owners and camp hosts, and one guest got invited to a neighbor's barbecue. A few mention noise from a nearby truck stop and the train line, though they call it lightly traveled and not too bothersome. The water is highly salted, per one review. Shopping and restaurants are about 12 miles out.
