About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on Charlotte's east side is a fairly new facility, and reviewers say it shows. The place is clean, well-lit, and gates to units are easy to operate. Staff members like Casey and Taylor get named in reviews for being kind, patient, and clear about pricing. One reviewer appreciated that Casey set expectations up front, including the possibility of a rate increase. For RV owners, the parking area is easy to get into, but spaces are narrow. A reviewer with a 35-foot travel trailer found backing in tricky because it was hard to see around other rigs and there wasn't much margin for error. If you have a big rig, plan to bring a spotter. Online scheduling and quick setup come up in reviews, and the office is wheelchair accessible. The facility is not open 24/7. Not every review is glowing: one reviewer described a staff interaction as disrespectful, so service can vary by visit.
