About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on Airline Hwy in Metairie handles outdoor parking along with indoor units, so there's room for an RV or boat as well as the usual household overflow. The facility is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking and an elevator that reviewers describe as good sized. Reviews land at 4.8 stars across nearly 600 ratings, and most of them talk about the people. Rochelle gets named again and again for being patient, professional, and quick to step in when someone needs help. One renter from Georgia said setting up and getting into a unit went off without a hitch. Others mention easy move-ins, carts on hand, and weekend hours that stretch longer than expected. Not every review is glowing. One person reported rats getting into cardboard boxes and complained about carts being hard to find and a price increase. Climate-controlled units come up often in reviews, which matters in Louisiana heat. Small, medium, and large units are available. Reserve online or stop by the Airline Hwy office.
