About Heartland Storage - Michigan City - Facility A
Heartland Storage runs a family-owned facility on the edge of Michigan City, and the reviews keep coming back to the people. Jenny gets named more than once for walking renters through the process and answering questions. Check-in tends to go quick, and several reviewers said their unit was clean and waiting with a lock inside when they arrived. The property is fully fenced with keypad gate access and 24/7 video surveillance, and reviewers mention the lot is well lit. Parking spots for rigs include 9x20 and 9x30 sizes, alongside drive-up units. There's no security deposit, and you can rent or pay at the kiosk any time. A few reviewers warn that rates can go up after the first few months, so read your contract. Others had trouble reaching someone by phone. Staff friendliness is the strongest theme across the 169 reviews, and the price comes up as lower than nearby options.
