About Lockaway Storage
Lockaway Storage sits just off I-35 in Schertz, about 21 miles northeast of downtown San Antonio, so it draws folks from Cibolo, Selma, Garden Ridge, and the surrounding towns. Indoor and outdoor options are on the menu, and RV and boat spaces sit alongside regular self storage. The gate is fenced and lit, and cameras cover the property. You can rent online and pay online, and leases run month to month. Access hours aren't 24/7, though reviewers mention getting in through the secured gate until 10pm. With a 4.8 rating across 299 Google reviews, the praise tends to land on the people. Reviewers name Lyle, Carla, and Alma and describe staff who stay on top of the grounds and walk around checking on customers. Others talk about scoring a unit in minutes on a Sunday and moving in the same day. A few mention a free lock and easy unit switches. One reviewer had a rough ending with lien notices.
