Public Storage, 5615 Westheimer Rd

About Public Storage

This Houston Public Storage sits in the self-storage category and also takes boats and vehicles. Units run from medium 10x10 up to large 10x30, and most are climate controlled. A few are on the ground floor, and others you reach by elevator. The place is wheelchair accessible, entrance and parking lot both. Reviews land at 4.7 stars across 544 ratings. People keep mentioning the elevators and how quick the rental process goes. Staff come up often too, with several reviewers calling out specific employees by name for explaining rates and discounts clearly and for being friendly and attentive. One reviewer left without renting and still praised the customer service. Not every review is glowing. A couple of people describe problems: one says a climate-controlled unit felt hot and humid with mold on their things, another describes a break-in and a call that felt too calm. Another warns about auctions and fees. Worth reading the full reviews yourself before you sign. Online eRental lets you skip the counter.
