About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This is the U-Haul on the Ames side of things, and it handles storage along with the truck rentals the name is known for. Units come in indoor and outdoor types, so you can pick drive-up or tuck the rig inside. Climate control is available on some units. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. One person said they would never go anywhere else for rental or storage. Another liked that it was easy to use, close to campus, and clean. The Iowa State crowd shows up in the reviews too, with one thanking them for the location near ISU. Security cameras are on site, and the facility offers 24/7 access. There is a wash station, and boat storage is listed among the options. Month-to-month rentals and online payments are part of the setup. Hours at the office are limited, so check before you drive over.
