About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This is the U-Haul spot on the east side of McKinney, close to US-380 and not far from Downtown or US-75. They rent both indoor and outdoor units, climate-controlled, with drive-up access for vehicles and boats. Month-to-month terms, online payments, and contact-free move-in mean you can set things up without standing in a line. Reviewers split. Several call out the staff by name and describe quick, friendly service that got them in and out. Others had a rough time: missed phone calls, billing they say kept going after a move-out, and hallway lights on a timer that left someone fumbling in the dark. It's worth asking about lighting and confirming your move-out paperwork in person. Security cameras are on site and access is 24/7. Packing supplies and carts are sold there, which helps if you're hauling things in yourself.
