About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This is the U-Haul storage yard off Miramar way, close to I-805 and MCAS Miramar. It handles indoor and outdoor parking, so you can pick between a drive-up spot or a unit under cover. Cameras and 24/7 access are part of the setup. Climate control is available, and there's a wash on site. Reviews are mixed but lean positive. Several people go out of their way to praise the staff, with one calling out Keith by name for saving a move when the movers canceled. Helpful staff is the thread running through most of the good feedback. The low marks tend to come from access problems, like a gate code that stopped working and a long wait for help. One thing to know going in: a reviewer showed up for propane and found no certified staff to run the pump, so don't count on that. Booking online is an option, and packing supplies and carts are sold here. Ask about the access setup before you sign.
