About Vehicle Fortress

Vehicle Fortress is a storage condominium community off I-75 in Fort Myers, a short drive from RSW Airport. You buy a deeded unit instead of paying monthly rent. Owners use them for RVs, motorcoaches, boats, classic and exotic cars, helicopters and trailered vehicles. Units have 18 foot ceiling clearance, motorized garage doors up to 20 by 14 feet, 65 foot maneuvering aisles, and 50 amp service with individual metering. There is air conditioning and fire sprinklers inside. The grounds are gated with perimeter fencing and cameras and 24 hour secure access. Concrete block buildings sit 24 feet above sea level, and the community came through Hurricanes Irma and Ian without leaks, flooding or power loss, according to the owner. Reviewers call it very clean and very secure, and several mention how close it is to the airport. One notes the buildings stayed high and dry after a hurricane and their RV was fine in an air conditioned unit. Another wished local RV dealers would tell buyers the place exists.
