About Welcome Self Storage
Welcome Self Storage on the Lexington side handles both indoor climate controlled units and outdoor drive-up spots, and there is paved parking for boats and RVs. The gate and your unit door run through a phone app, so you can pull up, open the gate, and skip carrying a key. A reviewer with a boat spot close to a year said the property is well maintained and well lit. Folks who left reviews keep mentioning the same things: clean storage rooms, polite staff, and a manager who helps. One renter talked up the easy rental process and said the app works with Voiceover on iOS. Others like having 24 hour access instead of time restrictions. More than one called the pricing competitive against other storage places in the area. A few reviews are less rosy. One person said there is no grace period if rent is late, and that gate and unit access get locked when payment does not come on the first. Another mentioned a wet floor and screws in their tires. The facility is fenced in with 24/7 security monitoring.
