About Lochloosa Harbor resort
Lochloosa Harbor sits right on Lake Lochloosa, a 5,500-acre lake known for speck and bass fishing. It's a fish camp with cabins, RV sites, a bait shop, and a diner. The boat ramp gets a lot of mentions in reviews, along with the sunsets over the water. RV sites are spaced out, not packed together, according to one reviewer. Cabins are described as well equipped and clean, though not fancy. Staff and owners come across as kind and accommodating, even when plans change. The diner is called a hidden gem by a recent visitor, and the frog legs get a nod too. Reviews are mostly positive, with a 4.3 average across 366 Google reviews. Some mention train noise and a dock that needs repair. If you're looking for a straightforward fish camp with easy lake access, this place fits that bill. Call ahead for details on storage and sites.

“For fishing, this is a great option on Lake Lochloosa, but prices have increased a good bit over the years if you plan to rent one of their cabins or "The Lodge".” – Billy F., a year ago, on Google
“Very kind and accommodating staff and owners. Was supposed to contract for 8 weeks but it was cut. Very understanding when I arrived late due to delayed flight and checked in a day late. Then, left due to no work.” – Alisa P., 5 years ago, on Google
“Allways drove by this place and finally had time to stop and have lunch. The restaurant is definitely worth stopping for and is a hidden gem. Miss Jennie was very kind and let me pick her brain about the lake and the fishing.” – Richard R., 2 years ago, on Google
