About RecNation RV & Boat Storage
RecNation sits on Vinson Rd in Wylie, about 20 miles outside Dallas and close to Lake Lavon, which may be why boat storage comes up so often in reviews. The units are enclosed, so your rig or boat stays out of the weather. Access runs 24/7, and there is a gate plus security cameras on site. Reviewers talk about the leasing process and say the staff are kind and quick to respond. Several mention the facility staying clean, and a few point to the app. It holds a 4.4 rating across 126 Google reviews, so most people come away satisfied. Not every review is positive. Some long-term customers describe problems with construction relocations and the checkout process. One boat owner reported damage from rats during indoor storage and said messages went unanswered, so it is worth asking about pest control before you sign. Leases are month to month. Reserve a spot through the app or by phone.
