What the ratings say
Honey Bee RV Storage earns a 4.9 from 147 reviews, and it handles covered, indoor and outdoor rigs with gated entry, cameras, a dump station and 24/7 access. Storage Star has the deepest review pile at 880 and a 4.7 rating, with indoor and outdoor spots and a boat option. Two Public Storage locations show up too, at 4.8 and 4.5. Smaller operations like Airport Boat & RV Storage and Self-Storage at U-Haul carry perfect scores on thin review counts, so read those with some patience. High review numbers tell you how a facility handles a busy Saturday. Thin numbers tell you less.
Sun, hail and wind
Outdoor storage in this part of Colorado means UV exposure year round. A cover that breathes beats a tarp that traps moisture against the roof. Check the roof seams and the caulking around vents before winter, because freeze and thaw cycles work on small cracks. Hail is a real risk along the Front Range, so ask whether a facility has any structures on site or only open ground, and look at whether nearby rigs show dents. Pull your batteries and put them on a maintainer if the rig sits through the cold months. Top off the fuel and treat it.
Picking a spot
Start with gate hours. Six of the twelve facilities here run 24/7 access, which matters if you leave before dawn or come home after dark. If you plan to work on the rig, ask whether that is allowed on site, since some facilities want quiet storage only. Drive the route from your house to the lot at the hour you would actually use it. A cheap spot across town loses its appeal after a few late returns. Confirm your RV insurance covers the rig while it sits in storage, and ask the facility what proof they want on file before you sign.

Questions people ask
How many outdoor RV storage facilities are in Loveland?
There are 12 outdoor facilities in Loveland, plus 3 more nearby. The city also has 5 indoor and 2 covered options if you want more protection from sun and hail than an open pad gives you.
How many Loveland facilities offer 24/7 gate access?
Six of the 12 outdoor facilities offer 24/7 gate access. Honey Bee RV Storage and Airport Boat & RV Storage are two of them. Confirm the gate code process before you book, especially if you tend to arrive after hours.
Which Loveland facilities have the best reviews?
Honey Bee RV Storage rates 4.9 from 147 reviews. Public Storage sits at 4.8 from 172, and Storage Star holds 4.7 across 880 reviews. The average across the city is 4.7, so the leaders are close. Review volume matters as much as the score.
Should I pay more for covered storage in Loveland?
Maybe. Covered and indoor spots cost more, but they cut sun and hail damage on the roof and gelcoat. If your rig is older or you plan to keep it a long time, the extra protection can pay off. Otherwise a clean outdoor pad with good drainage works fine.
